Hurricane Beryl has become the earliest ever Category 5 storm to hit the Atlantic. It made landfall near the island of Grenada and is currently on track to hit Jamaica. Ralph Gonsalves, prime minister of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, told Global News Insight the damage it caused is “horrendous.”
