Mexican scientists recently identified the vessel as ‘La Union’, believed to have gone down in September 1861.
Archaeologists in Mexico have discovered a Mayan slave ship.
It is the first time this kind of ship has been found.
Scientists say the wreck is believed to date back to the 1850s.
