Venezuela’s president says the outgoing leader of Colombia was behind an apparent assassination attempt on him.

Two drones were apparently launched towards a public event where Nicolas Maduro was speaking.

The Venezuelan government says they were armed with missiles.

Colombia’s President Juan Manuel Santos dismissed allegations he was involved in the attack.
