Hong Kong may see more protests despite extradition bill’s end

Demonstrators say the concession will not stop them from protesting against what they see as an unjust leadership and China’s influence.

After months of protests Hong Kong’s chief executive has finally withdrawn a controversial extradition bill.

The move to fast-track the law that would have seen Hong Kong suspects tried in mainland China sparked unprecedented unrest in the city.

But the withdrawal of the bill is unlikely to end the protests.
