Taqwa Ahmed Al-Wawi is a writer and poet from Gaza. She is pursuing a degree in English Literature at the Islamic University of Gaza. She has contributed to We Are Not Numbers (WANN), Electronic Intifada, Mondoweiss, The Washington Report on Middle East Affairs, The Palestine Chronicle, The Markaz Review, and Middle East Monitor. Her poetry has also been published by the Gaza Poets Society.
