Sonia Ahmad has a PhD in City and Regional Planning from Cornell University. Her research interests revolve around small and medium-sized cities’ responses to water and climate change and the politics surrounding them. She integrates theory with practice in her research as she draws on her 10 years of experience working in the international development arena, particularly in South Asia.
