Sneha Krishnan is an Associate Professor in Human Geography at the University of Oxford. She is currently writing two books: one on radical domesticities against marriage in late colonial India, and a second on colonial violence and the myth of benevolent empire. Sneha has held a British Academy Wolfson award, and is an editor of Gender, Place, and Culture. She has written for public readers on race, caste, and the politics of education.
