Nazia Kazi is Professor of Anthropology at Stockton University in New Jersey and affiliated faculty with the Rutgers Center for Race, Security and Rights. She teaches courses on race, empire, and Islamophobia. Her first book, Islamophobia, Race, and Global Politics, is required reading in college classes across the country. She is currently working on a book about the CIA's sponsorship of right-wing Islamic movements.
