About the author
Mohamed M Fall is the UNICEF Regional Director for Eastern and Southern Africa. In this function, he is responsible for the leadership and oversight of 21 UNICEF country offices in the region, including Ethiopia, Kenya and Somalia. He was born in Senegal and has served in various roles within UNICEF including in Nigeria, the Central African Republic, Mongolia, Haiti, Indonesia and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
