Katherine Aguirre Tobon is a Colombian economist (Universidad del Valle) with professional experience in the areas of violence and development. She has worked with think-tanks in Colombia, Switzerland and Brazil. Katherine holds a Masters in Development Studies from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Switzerland. Her research interests are in violence prevention and reduction initiatives, peace accords and post-conflict, drug policy and research methodologies.
