Dr. Ka Lok Yip is an Assistant Professor at the College of Law, part of Hamad Bin Khalifa University. She holds an interdisciplinary PhD in international law and international relations from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Geneva. She has published extensively on issues related to armed conflicts and monitors armed conflicts in the region closely. She is also admitted to the practice of law in England and Wales and Hong Kong. She recently authored “The Use of Force against Individuals in War under International Law”, published by Oxford University Press.
