Frans Timmermans is the European Commission’s Executive Vice-President for the European Green Deal since 2019. He began his career at the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs. From 1998 onwards, he held different political positions in the Netherlands. In 2014, he became First Vice-President of the European Commission.
