Daniel Bekele is the senior director for Africa Advocacy at Human Rights Watch where he has previously served as the Executive Director of the Africa Division. Prior to joining HRW, he worked as the Policy Research and Advocacy manager at the Ethiopia office of Actionaid International, he practiced law and worked on promotion of human rights and rule of law with the Ethiopian civil society sector for over a decade.
