About the author
Dr. Chris Sandbrook is a conservation social scientist and professor at the University of Cambridge with a range of research interests around the central theme of biodiversity conservation and its relationship with society. He is strongly committed to building capacity in conservation, particularly among future conservation leaders. He is Director of the Cambridge Masters in Conservation Leadership, and works in capacity development work across the Cambridge Conservation Initiative.
