Andrea Dessì is Head of the Italian Foreign Policy programme and Senior Fellow within the Mediterranean, Middle East and Africa programme at the Rome-based policy think tank the Istituto Affari Internazionali (IAI) and Editorial Director of the english-language IAI Commentaries series. He works on EU and US foreign policy towards the Middle East with a particular emphasis on human security and the Arab-Israeli conflict.
